Although I did not work for a prolonged period for Mark, he had a profound influence on me. At interview he gave me the confidence and the assurance to make the move from Cambridgeshire to Somerset, I have not regretted that decision for one second. Mark turned out to be one of these exceedingly rare, in my experience, managers who managed with a sense of ease and inspired everyone in his team to happily deliver that little bit extra each day. Mark was an obvious professional and a great motivator, but the professional was also in evidence when holding people to account, a very firm and fair approach which always focused on a positive outcome. He has a confident and intelligent sense of humour, in stressful situation that is invaluable. Lastly his knowledge of the quality discipline is impressive, and I have no doubt that any company lucky enough to employ Mark will benefit, not only financially, but in a positive work culture manner
